On late Thursday afternoon of 05/28/2020 the Grant County EOC, on behalf of the Grant County Court, submitted a proposal to the State of Oregon for reimbursement of COVID-19 related costs, for the Grant County Health Department and EOC along with a request for millions of dollars of aid to local businesses. Giving pharmacists the authorization to order and administer COVID-19 tests to their patients means easier access to testing for Americans who need it. Pharmacists play a vital role in delivering convenient access to important public health services and information. The Trump Administration is pleased to give pharmacists the chance to play a bigger role in the COVID-19 response, alongside all of America’s heroic healthcare workers.

Malheur National Forest sets date for Recreation Reopening

 The Malheur National Forest recreation staff announced Thursday, that starting Monday, June 1, 2020, nearly all developed recreation sites that had been closed will be opened. These sites include campgrounds, restrooms, trailheads, trailhead facilities, boat ramps and day use areas. At this time all recreation rental sites such as cabins and lookouts will remain closed. Campground water systems will be turned on and tested during the first two weeks of June.
